What Went Well:
• Great commitment from the lads for 90 mins.
• Used the flanks well which we created the first two goals from.
• Better communication.
• We were the better side for the majority of the game.
• It was a huge boost for the players and shows how their efforts in both training and previous games are paying off.
• Jack scored the most goals in one game in the clubs history.
• Maintained a clean sheet despite being so far ahead with 20 mins to go continued to stay solid at the back.
What Could Have Been Better:
• We had a quiet 10 mins at the end of the first half.
• Sharpen up close passes in the final third.
• No need to aggravate the referee with 5 minutes remaining especially after being 10-0 up (Rhys Hagan.
Action Points To Work On In Trg & Future Matches:
• Continue to work on fitness.
• Drills.
Man of the Match: Jack Gough. He had another notable performance with 6 goals and his work rate for 90 minutes was superb whilst being very strong in a tackle and holding players off. Shaun Preece’s first half performance moving the ball quickly and setting two goals up and delivering good crosses should not go unmissed.
